If you have left education and are looking to return then you may consider doing a course at your local college. College courses are often quite flexible meaning you can chose if you want to do a full time, part time or evening and weekend’s course. It may be that you can obtain the same qualification from all options just some will take a little longer than others.
Most colleges offer a wide variety of course that you can do. Some of them may require a minimum level of qualifications such as A-C in 3 GCSE’s, but often this is a little flexible or you may get the option to complete your GCSE’s prior to attending the course, should you need to.
Returning to college as a mature student is often a different experience to studying at college straight after secondary school. You may find it easier to concentrate, enjoy the learning more and excel in exams, coping better with stressful situations.
